BAMALAX SELECT GOES 3-1 in GEORGIA
The BAMALAX high school Select team competed in Roswell, Georgia at the inaugural TILT tournament and finished 3-1 on the weekend only losing to Team TRIDENT. The BAMALAX squad had amazing chemistry and looked like they had played together for months putting on a very impressive performance. The team was lead by Jeremy Sherman from Huntsville who netted 7 goals and added 6 assists, Harrison Proctor (Mountain Brook) 6 goals, 6 assists, Jack Winters (Hoover) 7 goals, 4 assists and Haden Smith (John Carroll) 6 goals, 4 assists. Will Bromberg (Mountain Brook) added 4 goals, 3 assists and Stewart Moore (John Carroll) netted 4 goals. Other scorers were Jake Ponseti (Homewood) Chad Porter (Hoover) and Dylan O’Hare (John Carroll). The BAMALAX defense was extremely stingy and goalies Bryan Simkanich (Hoover) and Charlie Lakin (Spain Park) were both solid throughout the weekend, Alex Wright (Vestavia) won the majority of face-offs and contributed to numerous fast-break goals.
